The transparent centimetre measure is standard equipment for paper work, scrapbooking, card design and many other hobbies. The metal edge protects the ruler from cuts and you always have a straight cut. You can also measure distances at the same time, as the 5cm wide ruler is printed with lines in 0.5cm increments lengthwise and crosswise.
